ESOI TOUCHDOWN 2025 MALTA

Dear Colleagues & Friends,

It is both a privilege and a pleasure to welcome you to the ESOI Touchdown 2025, which will take place from November 13th to 15th in Qawra, Malta.

At the crossroads of Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, Malta has a longstanding tradition of academic excellence and cultural exchange. Today, it continues this legacy as a growing hub for research, education, and clinical excellence through Mater Dei Hospital and the University of Malta, which collaborate closely in multiple European and international initiatives.

The 2025 Annual Meeting promises to deliver a comprehensive scientific programme, showcasing the latest advances in oncologic imaging. It aims to foster dialogue among radiologists, clinicians, researchers, and industry stakeholders, strengthening multidisciplinary collaboration. Consistent with ESOI’s mission, the meeting will serve as a platform for education, innovation, and professional growth in a collegial and stimulating setting. Of note, this year’s programme features a dedicated focus on enhancing radiologist – patient communication, highlighting its important role in contemporary oncologic care.

Malta offers a unique setting for this year’s congress. With its rich cultural heritage, ranging from prehistoric temples to Baroque architecture, and its status as a UNESCO World Heritage destination, the island provides a truly inspiring backdrop for scientific exchange. We trust that Malta’s warm hospitality, Mediterranean charm, and rich history will enhance your professional and personal experience.

On behalf of the ESOI Executive Committee, I extend my sincere invitation to join us in Malta for what promises to be a very engaging and memorable ESOI Touchdown Meeting,

Dr. Melvin D’Anastasi
ESOI President and Congress President
